Use Pos/Neg netting in dry soils,
brown grass, or snow. It can overcome

Guard beehives
or campsites
When properly electrified, stops
bears and other predators from
making a meal of your beehives.
Features
• Pos/Neg capability (p. 08). It can be
set up as a Positive/Negative fence—
much better for dry, rocky, sandy or
winter soil conditions.
• Drivable posts (p. 08)—Reinforced
caps and special ground spikes
enable these posts to be tapped into
hard soils.
• Tall-grass disconnect.
To reduce voltage loss
in tall grass or weeds,
disconnect stainless
steel clips at bottom
of net to halt power to
lowest strand. Useful if net remains
in place for several months.
Are bears susceptible to
electrified fence?
Yes! Because their foot to ground
contact (low resistance) allows the
pulse to easily travel through them
into the soil. Baiting the fence entices
bears to test it with their sensitive
snout, quickly training them to stay
away. To bait, place bacon, peanut
butter or something similar onto the
conductive strands of the fence.
