Recommended uses:

Similarities:
aSimilar pulse output (0.5 joule) and
battery draw.
aBoth are low-cost, “no frills” units.
aPowered by either a 12V battery or 110V

aLow-impedance (similar output curves).
Difference:
HotShock 5 includes connection leads and
clips, also known as a wiring harness, to
attach to the fence and ground rod. Patriot
P5 does not.
