Mountable Teat Feeders
Build your own milk feeding system
Adaptable Setup
• Two systems: panel-mounted plates, or wall-mounted units.
• Draw-off assemblies pull milk from a level lower than the nipple.
• One-way valves prevent back flow.
• Built-in filter prevents clots from forming in the tubes—stops blockages and simplifies cleaning.
Wall-mount teat feeders allow shepherds to build an orphan feeding system that fits their needs.
Units are designed to pull milk from a reservoir. Can use coolers to keep the milk cool and reduce overconsumption.
Plate Assemblies
Attach to welded wire panels (pp. 88-89), or similar mounting surfaces that offer minimal support. Single or doubled teated (see below).
Nipples fit through the back of the plate.

Wall-mount Assembly
Attach to walls or wood planks (via drilled holes).
These units are similar in design to our Bucket Teat Units (p. 120), but do not interchange.
Nipples are inserted through the front of the teat unit.
Single Plate Kit:

One-Way Valve
Stops back flow into the milk reservoir. Lambs/kids don’t have to work as hard to suckle milk. Prevents warm milk from entering the reservoir.
