 Justin Rhodes
 Abundant Permaculture, North Carolina
Justin Rhodes and his family are no strangers to homesteading. They’ve inspired thousands to grow their own food—from a few tomatoes in the backyard or by transforming raw acreage into a full-time agribusiness.
Premier first met Justin while attending a Mother Earth News Fair. We knew he was using Premier’s portable electric fencing, but we wanted to know more.
We’re inspired by Justin’s story. Premier’s electric netting is an essential tool in his operation—from managing livestock to keeping predators at bay to improving forage production.
“ I could NOT farm like I do without Premier’s mobile electric fencing.
I use it to contain chickens, pigs and sheep as I move them about my land doing various jobs (so I don’t have to do them!).
“I use electric fencing to contain my chickens so they cultivate and
fertilize my gardens.
“I use the fencing to clear forests
with pigs while tilling the ground to encourage grass growth
(where there was none). “And, I use it to run sheep
a day behind the cows to eat weeds and less desirable
grasses the cows left behind.
 “

“If I Can Homestead, So Can You!”
“I’ve found that too many people suffer from ‘analysis paralysis’— they end up searching for ALL the info BEFORE they even start. Sometimes you just have to start.”
