1 . IntelliShock units are operable in 5 minutes. Just place it, drive in ground rod, connect battery and wiring harness, switch it on and test for voltage on the fence using a fence tester (p. 80). It’s that easy!
2. Unique energy-saving feature automatically reduces battery drain by as much as 70% when the fence is not in contact with weeds.
When daylight hours shorten, this feature keeps the battery charged because grass growth is less in the fall.
3. For even more efficiency the solar panel angle should be adjusted to match the angle of the sun through the seasons. From 90˚ (summer) to 35˚ (winter).
