These posts are strong! Easier and faster to install than
FiberRods, steel posts and plastic posts.
• Use the 2.5" wide step-in footplate to step post into soil at the point of a curve, corner or end of netting. We lean it outwards against the strain because the shaft will curve slightly towards the pull of the netting—this helps to straighten the fence (photo above).
• To install post in hard soils, predrill holes with 3/8" bit or tap cap with mallet/dead blow hammer (sold below).
Step-in footplate is welded to the spike for support. Self-insulating 7/8" (22mm) diameter PVC with 6 internal fiberglass cables for extra stiffness throughout the post.
Top strand of the net inserts into slot at top of cap.
