Heating Plate Cover
A simple solution to a common problem.
Chicks quickly discover the ability to hop and climb, resulting in manure covered heat plates. A domed heating plate cover eliminates the hassle of cleaning dirt and droppings from top of heating plate (sold separately below right).
Water Source
Add a chick nipple drinker to your plate!
Chick Nipple Drinker
Drinker sits or hangs above the bedding and droppings, providing chicks a source of clean water. Nipple prevents water from becoming fouled.
Comes with a simple wire hanger.
Placing a drinker on the heating plate prevents use of a cover, which means chicks can hop up, sit on and soil the top of the warmer.
Use optional brackets (in use photos on p. 16) for mounting the drinker to a wire cage or wall.
