For domestic pigs only
QuikFence is an electrified netting
that is quick to install (within
minutes). Sturdy posts combined
with a low weight allow it to excel in
both semi-permanent and temporary
fencing situations.
It’s easier to use and install than
multiple strands of electric wire
on posts and far more effective
and reliable as well. Much easier
to handle than heavy welded wire
panels and T posts.
As with all electric fences, pigs
must be properly trained to the
fence. Otherwise, escapes are likely
to occur. Training details may be found
on p. 23.
Why domestic pigs?
Pig QuikFence is not as visible as
HogNet 10/24/12 (p. 25). Feral hogs
often run through an area, requiring
added visibility for their fences. By
comparison, domestic pigs are rarely
“on the run”.
