Electric Netting—why so many choices?
Netting’s versatility allows it to be used in a wide variety of applications.
There is no one net to do all the different jobs, so we’ve diversified our selection.
That way we can offer the right solution to our customers’ needs.

• All standard netting, Pos/Neg and Basic
nets (at right).
These nets include a green/white
superconductor strand that has both
stainless steel and tinned copper
filaments for optimal conductivity.
They are 10 times more conductive
(only 38 ohms) than our Basic nets
(at far right). So an electric pulse
maintains more of its shock effect
throughout the fenceline.

For sites where soil resistance is high
(brown grass, dry soil, snow). Also for
species that make poor soil-to-foot
contact due to fur, dry hooves or
minimal weight (e.g. goats).

Basic nets are not advised for
fences of more than a 2–3 rolls.
Very similar in design and
conductivity (380 ohms) to nets
from our competitors.

Plus nets have 6.8 ft instead
of 10-12.5 ft between line
posts. For easier handling,
we’ve added more posts to
shorten the distance between
them. Best net for uneven
terrain or fence lines with
many twists and turns.
The “Pro” difference:
• Braided, not twisted,
conductors. The tighter,
braided weave results in
fewer snags in overgrown
brushy terrain.
• Metal is exposed on the
outside of the strand for
better and more reliable
animal to conductor contact.
08 ELECTRIC NETTING Drivable posts (DP) are
best suited for dry, hard or
rocky soil.
The 0.75" dia. posts are
much stronger and stiffer
than standard line posts and
can be pounded in with a
dead-blow hammer or mallet.
Brown drive-caps indicate
these posts are drivable.
PrimaPosts™ (PP) are
manufactured using an
advanced fiberglass composite
and are smaller in diameter vs
PVC posts of similar stiffness
(13mm vs. 19mm); this enables
longer sections (164' vs. 100')
without additional weight.
