We noticed long ago that buckets of grain are carried at knee level. That’s bad practice while walking into a group of hungry ewes or does that careen toward any bucket.
Our feeders are made to protect the shepherd from the flock while minimizing waste, feeding grain and/or hay, and allowing animals adequate feeding space.

Single-Sided Design
Easy and safe to walk along these feeders to feed hay/grain and check the animals with no risk of being pushed or mobbed by the flock. Work as drive-by feeders too!
Open panels allow shepherds to observe individual animals while feeding. Can be built with either panel insert.

BUILD YOUR OWN FEEDERS
24" x 48" Panel Insert
For large sheep and rams. Holes are 4" x 6" to match the larger noses and needs of Suffolks, Hamps, Columbias, Dorsets and most rams.
This size is not as suitable for smaller sheep, lambs or goats because they can catch their heads in the holes.
Comes with a bag of six barbed 1.6" staples.
