Double-Sided Design
Animals work for each mouthful of hay and kernel of grain, reducing waste and keeping them busy. Tight spacings prevent heads getting caught in the panels. We use treated wood for the legs because they contact the ground. Can be built with either 24" x 48" or 30" x 48" panels.
Feeders can serve double duty by subdividing pens
  3" x 5" holes 30" wide 48" long 1/4" dia hot-dip galv rods

For goats and sheep. Holes are 3" x 5" to match noses of goats and small to medium sheep breeds. Our preferred panel for our flocks (Dorper/Romanov/Katahdin).
Panels are 30" tall. Therefore no plywood is needed at the top. (See how plywood sides are used in the photo at far left.)
Comes with a bag of six barbed 1.6" staples.
