Step 1:
Choose bucket size
Choice is square 2 gal or 4 gal bucket.
The EzeLid
(sold separately)
will fit all
square Premier buckets.
We prefer the 4 gal bucket in the
summer because it has space for large
ice containers to keep the milk cold,
reducing risk of spoilage.
For winter-feeding a few lambs we use
2 gal buckets (ice container not needed).
Step 2:
Select teat types
Use latex (red or natural) for first 10
days. Red rubber after 10 days.
Step 3:
How many teat units?
A square bucket can hold up to 6
teat units if hung on the side of a pen.
8 units will fit if it is secured in the
middle of the pen.
Order a wrench for
easier assembly and disassembly.
Step 4:
Order a wire holder
For hanging the bucket. Works with
both wire and 1" thick wood panels.
