(extreme) version?
PRS X units have the same energizer
and regulators as standard units but have
larger batteries and larger solar panels
to cope with less sunlight per day and
winter temperatures.
We recommend the X unit for:
a. Those who live in the northern third
of the US if they will be using it from
October through March.
b. Those who live in the middle third
of the United States—if they will
be using the PRS energizer from
November though January.
Due to size differences, the panel of the
200X is mounted onto the case rather than
fitted into the lid. The panel’s angle is
adjustable via brackets attached to the lid.
