We innovate & improve
Premier’s history: We introduced Lister clippers to the USA in 1987. Through 2001 we were
their sole distributor.
When we started, very few in the USA knew of them. By the late 1990s we were Lister’s
largest customer and Lister was a recognized name in the US sheep show industry.
When Wahl purchased Lister in 2001 we were not happy at all (in part because we had
offered to purchase Lister ourselves a year earlier!).
Our response was to develop our own line of clippers, shears, blades, combs and cutters. In
doing so we used the knowledge gained over the 14 years to:
• Improve the designs.
• Reduce prices to end-users.
Our willingness to service and support our products then and now continues to have no
equal in the industry.
