For semi-permanent fences Moved Seasonally
Multi-Rope Fences
PigTail post holding three
strands of IntelliRope—4.5
bottom and middle and one
of 6.0 at the top.
Seasonal Subdivision
Moved seasonally—consists of up to 3
electrified strands of IntelliRope®
.
Differs from temporary fences by:
• Having more conductive strands.
• Using rope instead of twine.
• Not including windup reels.
Why rope instead of twine or tape? It’s
more visible than twine. And it’s able to
withstand wind, snow and ice better than
twine, polywire or tape.
Rope is hand-tensioned and supported
by steel, wood or FiberRod™ posts spaced
up to 40 ft apart.
End/corner posts are steel or wood.
The rope is pulled only hand-tight—
which makes this design superior to high
tensile wire for irregular fence lines that
shift direction frequently.
The fence is also simple and quick to
install and remove.
Install a Pos/Neg fence for 4-season
fences (i.e., those that must work when the
soil is dry or there is deep snow).
Cost: as low as 15¢ per ft
What can I use this for?
• Fencing on rented/leased land. • Subdividing pastures for up to 5 years.
• Enclosing cropland for a season. • As borders for forests, grassland, streams, ponds.
• As an interim fence until a more permanent fence can be decided upon and installed.
