Best to control and contain cattle
Moved seasonally—best for setting up small pens or laneways for directing cattle.
Can be used as fence for the whole paddock; however, QuikFence involves more $$
than reel or multistrand fences.
Curious calves learn to avoid QuikFence because it’s so visible and has multiple
electrified wires near their noses. Lowest strand is 12" above the ground to keep them
in, highest is 48" for gravity resistant bovines (jumpers).
Ease of setup lets you quickly make a secure enclosure, such as around windbreaks
or feed supplies. Install FiberTuff posts (p. 68) for support at ends and corners.
