SI-RO-MARKTM
Developed in Australia in partnership with CSIRO and
passed as scourable there. The only marking fluid approved as scourable by the world’s leading wool processors.
Leaves a bright, readable mark when used with Premier’s branding irons (at right). Dries faster than regular paint (though we’d like it to dry even faster). One gallon of paint provides several years of marking for our flocks. Marks last 2–4 months.
SI-RO-MARK is available from many sheep and wool supply firms. If you are unable to find it at your farm/ranch store, ask them to contact Premier.
The most “scourable” mark is no mark at all. Shepherds with high value wool flocks should try to avoid any and all marks on the wool.

Sprayline Marking Spray
Produces a controlled spray so letters and numbers are easily made. Sprayline is accepted as scourable in England but not the USA (keep in mind for high value fleeces). Most marks last 3–7 weeks. Marks last longer on wool sheep than hair animals but weather and fleece cover are major factors.
