Which trimmer is
right for you?
Animals with very hard or thick hooves?
Choose trimmers with serrated blades. Serrated blades “grip” hard hooves when cutting force is applied—eliminating slippage. The disadvantage? Serrated blades cannot be resharpened. Units with serrated blades are ARS DXR Trimmers, ExoTrim and The “Premier”.
Most comfort?
The ARS or ExoTrim Trimmers are viewed by many as equally comfortable to use for long periods.
Small/Medium hands? You will prefer the ARS 140DXR or
ExoTrim trimmers.
Large hands?
You may like ARS Hoof Shears or
The “Premier”.
