PoultryNet 12/42/3 Works well for keeping in most heavy breeds of poultry (but less so for flighty breeds). Light, easy to handle and less expensive than the taller 48" nets. 12 ft between built-in posts. New! Drivable Posts… • Post can be pounded in with a dead-blow hammer or mallet. • .75" dia post with fiberglass cables for added support. • Brown drive-cap. • Single spike has a flange for support when inserting post. PoultryNet Plus 12/42/3 Same as standard PoultryNet 12/42/3 (above) but Plus has line posts every 6.8 ft instead of 12 ft— which means it’s less likely to sag and allow the “live” wires to touch grass or soil. The extra posts make the netting heavier so we shortened the rolls to 50 ft and 100 ft lengths. New! Electric Chicken Net 12/42/3 Same mesh and 13.5 post spacings as PoultryNet 12/42/3. But it has 380 ohms of resistance instead of 38 so it’s not advised for fences longer than 2 to 3 nets. Very similar to competing nets offered by mail order firms and a few farmstores.

New!

For easier

identification—drivable

post caps are brown in color

instead of black (see above).

Acronym for them is DP.

Note: We’re aware that the lower price of Electric Chicken Net encourages folks to choose this version.

Think carefully before you do so. Customers who are unhappy with netting are often those who’ve chosen

ChickenNet or its farmstore/catalog equivalents. Why do we offer it? Because it is similar in specifications to

nets from other sources—and comparisons make decisions easier.
