Note:
To encourage egg laying in fall and winter, set up a timer-
controlled light in the coop to increase “daylight” hours, an hour or two
in early morning and evening.
If you are not using a roll-out tray system already, then you may need
to add a little bedding to get the hens laying in the boxes.
