Converts soiled eggs into clean, sanitary, saleable eggs in much
less time than it takes to clean them by hand. Works so well that
it often surprises new users. Egg basket included with the kit.

Enhance the appeal
of the eggs…
1. Don’t let them get dirty. How?
• Use roll-away trays in nest boxes
(egg rolls out of the
nest when the hen leaves, see pp. 30–31)
. However, some
chickens insist on nests that have bedding.
• Collect the eggs more often.
• Keep broody hens away from the nests.
• Refresh the nest bedding as needed for clean eggs.
• Provide a calcium supplement. Shells are thicker and
break less. We use oyster shell in a grit station.
2. If the eggs are soiled, clean them
or discard them.
Nothing turns buyers off more than a dirty egg.
Sometimes cleaning can be done by dry brushing. But
some eggs must also be washed.
3. Put them in attractive cartons.
Appearance matters.
It indicates that you care and sweat the details, which
in turn inspires buyer confidence. Labels sold on p. 34.
4. Emphasize their freshness.
And they must always be
fresh! Discard eggs that become old. Don’t sell them!

4. Dry eggs on a paper towel, weigh on scale to sort by size, carton and label. 1. Add water (temperature should be 90º–100º). Add egg wash powder. 2. Place basket with eggs and weight disk (to prevent cracked eggs) in bucket. 3. Attach your air compressor hose to inlet valve. Follow enclosed instructions. New!
