Galvanized for longer life. Spring steel
takes more impact and strain than steel
posts without bending.

1. Dura-Top—Designed to reduce
tangling and eliminate wear.
Insulated shaft design (no power
below top insulator). Use with
pigtail clip-on insulators, see at right.
2. Hotpost Tangle Free—Post shaft
is electrified from top to bottom
insulator. Insulated top handle
provides access when adding to live
fence. Head is designed to reduce
tangling and eliminate wear.
3. Hotpost Multiwire—The head is
designed to reduce tangling and
eliminate wear. Power is distributed
through spring steel shaft and three
clips, repowering broken wires via
parallel live wire.
4. Goldfoot Springsteel—Insulated
pigtail ring, 6.9mm dia shaft of post
is not electrified. Use with pigtail
clip-on insulators, see at right.

Our New Zealand spring steel
pigtail posts from Strainrite are
designed for tougher conditions than
we find in Iowa.
Lasts in conditions with high levels
of UV light and corrosive sea spray.
A post that survives in those
conditions will succeed here.
Installed heights are 33"- 40.5"
above the soil. The hotpost multiwire
post includes 3 adjustable clips. Blunt
spike tip.
