What does the “F” stand for and how are blades different?
Clipper Guards
Set of 9 guards
Fits standard width snap-on A5 type clipper blades. Cannot be used with wide, blending or blocking blades.
The Eagle 4, 5 and 7 blades are available in either a “skip-tooth” or full tooth (F) finish blade. Skip-tooth blades have every other tooth shortened to push through heavy, matted fiber/hair. The “F” blades (with full length teeth) leave a smooth finish. For best results, start with the skip-tooth blade and then blend with the “F” blade.
