A comparison of EnduraSoft®,
IntelliBraid™ and
ElectroBraid® (a competitor):
• Plastic filaments? All are polyester.
• Design? Filaments are twisted in
EnduraSoft. The other two are braided.
• Size and strength? Similar.
• Visibility? EnduraSoft’s dramatic
black/white contrast is more visible to
both humans and animals.
• Safety for horses? No difference.
• Maintenance? Similar. Contrary to
claims on the internet, twisted rope
does not unravel while under tension
and needs no more maintenance than
either form of braided rope.
• Durability/longevity? Similar.
• Cost? EnduraSoft and IntelliBraid are
13¢ and 15¢ per ft. ElectroBraid® is 21¢.
Why the difference?
1. Premier sells direct. ElectroBraid® is
sold via stores (middlemen)
2. We buy our ropes direct from
manufacturers in large quantities.
• Metal filaments? All use copper.
Premier’s EnduraSoft and IntelliBraid
use tinned copper (used by most fence
suppliers worldwide because it doesn’t
corrode if it contacts steel).
ElectroBraid® uses untinned
copper—which is why it requires
expensive brass accessories.
• Warranty? Premier’s approach is
simple. If any fence products (not just

RopeLink is a low-cost, simple device
invented at Premier (and now copied
by other firms overseas). Needs no
tools. Just wind it around 2 ropes by
hand. Easily removed and reinstalled.
