Page Background New! EZ-Mark ® Stick New formulation produces quick and easy marks on sheep, goats, pigs and cattle. All-season sticks contain lanolin to provide a long-lasting vibrant mark that won’t dry-out, break up or melt. Durable plastic holder twists from the bottom to increase marker length. Most marks are visible for 60 days. Not fully scourable; do not use on high-value wools. Chalk Marker & Holder A mark that’s accepted as scourable by all! It’s a 4" stick of railroad chalk. • Very low cost per stick and per mark. Marks last less than 5 days. The holder is important. It supports the stick to prevent breakage and reduces amount of chalk left on your hand. Without a holder, you will soon hate this chalk; with a holder it “works.” Holder color will vary. Shepherds can now easily match lambs to ewes from a distance. Noting which ewes are performing and which aren’t helps when the cull-truck arrives. Sprayline Useful for: • Matching lambs and mothers. • Identifying fat, thin, diseased or cull animals in pens and chutes. • Spot-marking sheep that have just been vaccinated or drenched. Produces a controlled spray so letters and numbers are easily made. Sprayline is accepted as scourable in England but not by ASI officials. (And no, we are unable to explain why they disagree.) Most marks last 3-7 weeks. Marks last longer on wool sheep than hair animals but weather and fleece cover are major factors. 400 ml cans. In our tests a red 400 ml can of Sprayline produced about 450 numbers (2" to 3" in height) on a porous surface (burlap). That’s 2¢ each. By the way, small numbers are just as readable from a distance as large ones. How many marks are “in” a Sprayline can? premier1supplies.com • 1-800-282-6631
